Now I am accustomed to removing these when placing a regular charger on said batteries as so the cells can “breath”. The batteries the boat dealer gave me are the type that require water with the removable cell covers they are not maintenance free.Is this correct in my config just plug the charger in and leave it alone? I understand I do not have to disconnect anything as to charge.Does this mean I can connect it to my 12v/24v setup one to each battery without danger of damaging the others?
